The physical wall that we raise with our Ego
The aura that we make from jealousy
The distance we create with competition
The emptiness that broods in self-loath

The wall, the aura, the distance and the emptiness
No match for the determination to be a part of the universe
Friendship blossoms where there is a kind wish
An unconditional wish of well being to the other being

They say, 'the only way to have a friend is to be one'.
The friends around will add flavor to life
My best friend none other than my own self
In self-reflection, there is never a tinge of loneliness...sr

WHO deserves my LOYALTY and DEVOTION ?

Today I had a discussion with my grad school friends, regarding an international political situation .Which involves the justice system and celebrities. I felt like, that I had some clarity on the topic from my perspective and shared the following opinion with them. This is how it went... 'I believe that we had a similar discussion in the past, about the public figures and celebrities...' We fail to make a clear distinction between ones performance as a celebrity and their personal values for life, as an individual. The quality of the person as a fellow Human being. Not how they look or how they talk , not just the similarities we are looking for , but as to know who they actually are at a human level. For most of them, we do not know much of their real self. We only know what they project themselves as or what media shows them to be. So I do not show blind devotion to a person even if they are great at their job, no matter how rich, famous and powerful they are.

When I look into the eyes of people, some stay with me. leaving me in a state of wonder.... never quite get what is behind them..... then I end up wondering , to wonder even more until I pen it....and pin it down...                                                 The Universe in the depths of an EYE The eyes, that are a wonder to me  The eyes, that intrigue me  The eyes, that passed by me The eyes, that touched my muse...... The eyes that speak the depth of an ocean The shades of honey adds the emotion The layers of depth, the purpose of creation The sparkle in them, the soul's motion The language of eyes, gives away more words than you think The ocean depths and the mysteries hidden The history, mystery and the majesty of the being Alas, only if I could catch the glimpse for a bit longer.... sr
