                        Loneliness The physical wall that we raise with our Ego The aura that we make from jealousy The distance we create with competition The emptiness that broods in self-loath The wall, the aura, the distance and the emptiness No match for the determination to be a part of the universe Friendship blossoms where there is a kind wish An unconditional wish of well being to the other being They say, 'the only way to have a friend is to be one'. The friends around will add flavor to life My best friend none other than my own self In self-reflection, there is never a tinge of loneliness...sr

A pause changes you forever from inside Time is not always on  your side Family's deep-rooted banks Love and trust around your side Friends are like the oars, by your side Strength and affection alongside A boat well made with values deep-seated Back into waters, ride smooth navigated No matter what turbulent time brings to your side Self Respect, dignity, righteousness, and courage filled inside The sails are set strong to push the currents and winds aside Re-sail is only a part, rather than a restart aside Oh, how blessed to have love and affection by the side With the banks, oars and more on your side Then, the time has to be on your side No matter, what the world decides to side.....sr

I chose to be there at the start of the race Babies being born to start the life's race Determined to get them strong to sprint the race I start their race with a Grace Though my startline was not by my choice The race so far has been a rejoice To forget the unpleasantaries, is a choice I plan to finish my race with dignity and grace..sr The start and finish lines are inevitable and unpredictable for most part. The lines cannot be drawn by our choice We can only wish for, plan and accept.....sr

Recently, I read about what it takes to develop an ethical leader from a book. This is from the author's perspective. But I felt like keeping it in a place so I can refer to it often, as a guide or more as a reminder.                                    ETHICAL LEADERSHIP 1. People of Integrity and decency 2.Confident enough to be humble. They are secure due to their character and competency 3.They are both kind and tough. 4 Transparent and honest 5.Aware that we all seek meaning in work 6.They are aware that what they say is important, but what they do is more important. We should demand and develop ethical leaders, the kind of the leader one wants to follow and the kind to be followed.

This morning after my walk, I sat down to read my messages. One of them asked a question. I am going to translate it, but never the less, a philosopher's question... My mind is perplexed as what to do... Should I increase my spread to fit my appetite? Or should I resolve my appetite to fit the spread? My take on this... There is a time in life where we need to increase the spread to fit the desires Then, there is a time in life, the desires are resolved to fit the spread And there will be a time where there is more spread left to share with others Knowing when to shift the gears is the key... sr Please note the choice of the word resolution, vs suppression. Resolution is getting over an issue, you have grown above it. Suppression is when it could return any time in the future.

I grew up in a culture, where teachers of all forms are regarded. Respected for the social responsibility that they carry on their shoulders.
